Mga sir, I have just discovered this very useful tweaking of the hop up that surely improves your groupings as well as the fps. This is what I call my "Half Cut Hop Up Cussion Design". If this is done properly your projectile flight can straighten and your gun will have an accuracy of within only 5 inch diameter in 15 meters or even better! You gun will fire like as if you are using a tight barrel at a very minimal cost! This moding really improved the accuracy of my m733 even with a short barrel, it can now also be a sniper rifle!
For this enhancement, you will need the following:
1. silicon rubber gasket
2. teflon
3. silicon oil
These are the steps:
1. Disassemble the hop up.
2. Put an ample amount of silicon oil to the hop up rubber inside and out.
3. Properly attach the hop up rubber to the inner barrel
4. Wrap about 720 degrees(2 turns) of telfon around the hop up rubber positioned at it's edge opposite to the bb entrance(but not reaching the hop up rubber hole for the hop up cushion). Teflon also touching the inner barrel.
5. Insert properly the hop up rubber to the hop up assembly and check if the hop up rubber is in perfect round shape if you view it on the rear side like this below:
6. Properly seal the hop up plastic holder(that small plastic piece that locks the inner barrel) and the barrel ring using silicon rubber gasket and wipe off excess as shown below:
7. Cut into half the rubber cushion and glue only 1 half part (using a strong glue) to the hop up holder(i actually dont really know what is the term used to this) as shown below:

8. Assemble back all remaining hop up assembly parts.
9. Clean the inner barrel.
10. Test it.
Actually the logic for this why it can greatly improve your groupings is that, the back spin axis of the projectile will surely be perpendicular to the ground so bb flight will most likely move either up or down (depending on the level of the hop up)and not sideways-given with very minimal to no windage.
It can also enhance FPS because of the proper sealing. Teflon reinforced with silicon rubber gasket is very effective in the field. It can add more or less 10 to 15 fps if done properly.
Sometimes even high polished bbs like ICS is really not literally/perfectly round and these "imperfections" greatly affect the projectile flight. This mod helps correct trajectory direction by touching only a small portion of the bb as it travels in the barrel so back spin axis is enhanced.
As I have noticed, this is more effective than a V type mod that I was using before. Enjoy!
